Full-time training mode:

(1) Learning mode: full-time learning.

(2) Teaching mode: classroom teaching activities mainly include lecture and discussion, while strengthening the teaching of practical ability and professional skills.

(3) The "dual tutor system" is implemented for full-time Juris Masters. Professional teachers with the qualifications of instructing master degree candidates in CUPL serve as in-school tutors, and experts from legal practice departments engaged by the school and CUPL serve as part-time tutors. Tutors are generated through mutual choice between teachers and students, which is completed at the beginning of the third semester.

(4) Professional internship will fully rely on the internship bases jointly established by the school or CUPL and the judicial practice departments. The internship units should be the judicial departments in public security organs, procuratorial organs, people's courts, and law firms, legal departments of enterprises and public institutions, financial institutions and other units involved in legal affairs. The internship content should be mainly legal practice work, which is consistent with the objectives of Juris Master training.

(5) For international exchanges, the school will make full use of CUPL’s existing foreign exchange project channels, and strive to develop and self-build project channels to promote cooperation and exchanges betweentheschool and well-known overseas law schools and international organizations. The school will train its students to be talents with global vision through multiple forms such as student exchange, mutual recognition of credits, and dual degree programs, summer courses, and internships abroad.

Part-time training mode:

(3) Tutoring: in principle, part-time Juris Masters can only be instructed by in-school tutors. If necessary, part-time off-campus tutors can be arranged according to students' application. Professional teachers with the qualifications of instructing master degree candidates in CUPL serve as in-school tutors, and experts from legal practice departments engaged by the school and CUPL serve as part-time tutors.
